Vanessa West
MR Service Coordination - Personal Support Advocate

Vanessa West was born and raised in Illinois.  After high school, Vanessa moved to Las Vegas where she attended and graduated from UNLV. While in Las Vegas she worked in the special education field for three years and for four years she worked with Child Haven which serviced abused, abandoned and runaway children.  In 2005 she began working with Community Healthcore finding placement for individuals with developmental disabilities.  Vanessa then moved into our STAR Program as a youth counselor for two years. Currently Vanessa is working in our rapidly growing Access unit where she is a Service Coordinator. You can usually count on Vanessa to speak her mind, tell it like it is, and give everything she does 100%.  This includes her hobbies of roller derby, riding motorcycles and four wheeling.  Vanessa is actively involved in her community. She is a member of the NET Homeless Consortium, Arc of Gregg County and the Longview Co-Pilot program.
